I've had generally bad experiences with lazboy quality and construction. Alot of the lower end stuff ends up being bad quickly or just being **** leather quality, etc.

Looking for something that will last 10 to 15 years or more if the leather can be reconditioned and finished, etc. Also would prefer something with 8 way hand tie or similar construction so I myself or another doesn't fall in and break it.

Edit to add I'm in DFW

Look at Furniture Source International - they have a showroom in Wellborn (near College Station)

We have also had friends have good luck with Restoration Hardware ones (but would be top of budget)

We've had good luck with the Natuzzi brand. They have stuff in that range. Unless you want something modern looking, then you're talking over $10K.

We've had success with multiple pieces from Wiers.

Good quality, more expensive compared to some of the bigger chains but better quality, at a slightly higher price, but it won't break the bank.

We bought a Home Stretch couch, loveseat, and recliner last year. We have been very pleased with them so far. The store told us that they also have a good reputation for customer service and addressing issues that may come up down the road.

Bought this a few months ago along with the chair. Has power lumbar and the headrest adjust as well

Like how you can customize it and not just build a sectional. We built a sofa and a love seat that have 4 recliners in them as well purchased the single glider recliner.

I will tell you the lead time is terrible right now on leather sofas due to COVID and shortages. Most we looked at were 8-12 weeks out

Thomasville set still feels good after 11 years. Kids love the large chair.

Palliser is a good brand. Multiple places sell their stuff.

McCabe's Home Theater Seating in Frisco carries their stuff. Anything you find on Palliser's website she can order. Good local business.

We bought our media seating from them and have been very happy.

I have a Palliser couch w/chaise that i bought from a now defuct furniture store called IOMetro. I've had it for a decade and it's held up wonderfully.
Staff - take out the trash.

Bought Flexsteel a few years ago and they have been holding up with no problems. The one i bought was also 100% leather on the sides and back as well. Definitely worth a look if your in the market

I agree with Ethan Allen. We bought a nice leather sectional from them about 7 years ago and it still looks brand new.

Hate to break it to you but we have a set from this line about 5 years old that we're going to have to replace because it's not held up well at all. It was great for about 18 months and then started declining fast in finish, padding got bad and mechanics on the recliners got loose.
