Howdy! What's an average price to recaulk and paint exterior trim and front door? Brick house, 1 story, about 1400 sq. ft. in the B/CS area? Looking for a ballpark range so we know what we're about to get into.

Would that figure include front door/trim and the soffit? I'm attempting to work with a contractor would quoted $1800 (which included some window restoration) but he's now saying that doesn't include the front door and its trim and the soffit.

Thanks rlb, by looks, this is for a normal non-brick house. Ours is brick, so there's no wall painting happening, but I'll use this as a maximum for the project.

Yep. Already knew there was soffit. If I were you I would buy the paint that way you can spend as much or little on the quality of paint that you woild like on YOUR house

Lot of variables in play here


You can figure on roughly $1 - $1.50 a slab sq foot excluding 2 story. Also depends on how much prep work is needed and what quality of paint material you are wanting.
