Location: Harris county, Tomball (not in city limits)
Recent addition to home included new kitchen. A new drain line from kitchen sink was added. 200 ft connection to septic.
At least 180ft of 2" inch line with last 20 ft 3" line to septic connection
Does anyone know what is the required fall of line over 200ft from sink to septic tie in?

Might try asking permit office for tomball or harris county, which ever applies to you. There is no 'required fall', just a min. slope, depending on size of pipe. 1/4" pf is typical for the smaller pipe, the 3" might be 1/8". Either way, that's a good 4'+ of drop.

Your new kitchen is 200' away from any other existing sanitary?

1/4" per foot is typically considered the minimum slope for sewer services. Residential sewer services are typically 4". Are you saying it's already in and its a 2" line, cause that can't be right?

Been in a year and last week kitchen flooded.
Dishwasher running and sink filled up.
Line clogged, hydro jetted to remove debris accumulations and inconsistencies in slope detected.
Disposal used very rarely.

If you installed 200' of 2" drain line, that probably won't be the last clog you have. Is the kitchen sink at least the only thing that drains through that 2" line?

Inconsistencies in the slope won't matter with a two inch pipe. That thing will keep clogging until it's replaced with an actual sewer service. And it should have cleanouts every so often. I think 75' or so. Did a plumber install that?

The contractors plumber installed the drain line as part of the remodel. Sink with disposal, dishwasher and ice maker are the only items on this new line.
My plumber was hired to unclog and jet the line

Yes clean outs ~ 50'

So why does it run 200 feet?

Regardless, it still needs to be 4" if you want it to function properly. And it needs 1/4" per foot of fall. I don't think code even has recommended slopes for lines less than 4".

1/4" per foot for 2-1/2" and smaller
1/8" per foot 3" or 4"

A 2" SS line from just a sink wouldn't be much of an issue going a few feet, but 200' is asking for it. You have to be real careful about the slope and flexing of the pipe along the way. There's a point where the real cost is digging the hole and upsizing pipe is cheap insurance.
