Do you mean sandbur? Picture of weed will help with ID.

What species of grass do you have?
Bermuda
I'd go with Trimec Southern herbicide. (2,4-D, Dicamba, and MCPP) Should be able to find it easily.
I'd add a little bit of (Dawn) dish soap to the mixture to get good coverage on the leaves. May need repeat application to get a complete kill.
(Little amount...as in...don't make it foamy soap bubble mixture.)

Trimec is highly active on all broadleaves so avoid flowers/shurbs/veggies/dripline of trees and don't spray on a super windy day.
Okay, I'm an old and we always called them Goat Heads...much worse than your regular stickers as they had barbs that made them hurt so much worse than stickers! Man I hated when they got me as a kid!

Ugh. Screw those things. My parents bought a place in the country when I was a kid that had carpet everywhere. The previous owners must have worn shoes 100% of the time, because there were hidden stickers all over the place. Toughened me up real fast until they replaced the flooring.
I remember growing up in south Texas , a good revenge tactic was to gather a bouquet of those than throw them on the targets back. You better run though.
