Looking for a white farmhouse style sink 30" or larger (B-CS area). Any suggestions? Lots of places are out of stock.

Do you need it today? Just checked, and HD can have it in within 2 weeks. I would assume Lowes is the same.

Within a week or so. Thanks we will probably go with them. That's the best timeframe I can find.

IKEA has a double bowl 36" farmhouse sink, but I'm not sure if they ship. There's a store in Houston.

IKEA will ship, but it will cost you your first born child.

Signature Hardware is where we got ours and they normally ship in a day or two.

Go to the Moore Supply showroom and see what kind of timeframe Kohler is on for a farmhouse sink. They make some of the best.

Tons of them on Amazon Prime.
Yep, just order it online. It'll be here just as fast and probably be better or cost less than what the big box stocks anyway. The longest I've waited for materials from Amazon or build.com has been about a week.

If I have a normal sink with a granite lip around the edge, how hard is it to trade out to a farm sink? If the width and depth are the same, would I just have to cut the small lip that would be over the front edge of the sink?

+1

We have a standard "drop in" aluminum sink that we'd like to take out and replace. Not sure if anyone will be willing to cut our granite to install the sink though.

I've read that a disposal can damage a fireclay sink. Anyone have that experience?

Here's what we just bought.

Kohler Whitehaven Farmhouse Sink

It's actually enameled cast iron. Very heavy, solid sink. drain is in corner as you requested.
