Our contractor is about to wrap up our outdoor living area, and he used Lueders as the countertop.

I take it this stone should be sealed? Can anyone recommend a good product?

I really like the look but don't recommend to our customers due to how soft and porous the stone is. If it's too late to change it then make sure you seal it on a regular basis (maybe 2-4 times annually). Look into the DuPont brand stone dealers. Remember some can be a natural look and some will be an enhanced which can make the stone look wet.

Penetrating sealer such as Deck-a-Pell would be a good choice without a "glossy look"

Thanks all. The stone is already in so that's a little too late. What stores sell the deck-a-pell?

Try a Whitecap if there is one in your area.
