Does anyone know of a home security consultant that can provide information of where and what types of camera to place in a new build in Houston?

David Bayne, Texas Home Systems:
If you want a guy who does security only that is going to be on the lower end of the price spectrum, I would recommend David Bayne, Texas Home Systems, who did Longwoods. He is NOT a super high tech guy, but he does all the systems, camera's, video etc. He does all the other low voltage stuff too, so he understands it and how to integrate with it, but he was a security guy to start with. Not going to have a big website and not who you would hire for Ft. Knox, just a really nice guy who does good work at a very fair price.

Relative Home Systems:
We were doing a big project in Royal Oaks for a very wealthy family with security concerns. They had us use Relative Home Systems. I found them to be very professional and they did a great job for us there. They have a nice website-check it out under the "life and safety" heading for security. They obviously do it all but had no issue with security only on this project. Wayne Getschman or Boyd Purkis-281.802.8369. They are good at integrating with fire sprinkler systems which you will most likely have to have on this project. I spoke with them, they are fine doing security only on this job.

Mesa Alarm Systems:
I have not worked with them in about 5 years but they were one of the better security only firms around at that time. I don't remember a contact there but their phone number is 281.690.4500.
