A family member backed into the fiber cement panel which covers where the garage door once was. I would rather not replace the entire panel. Is there a "mud" similar to joint compound for drywall that can be used on the fiber cement board outdoors? Then of course, tape, sand, & paint. I'm not concerned with pretty, just keeping the animals & elements out.

Same as here: found at Lowes

Thanks!

I have discovered that thinset is recommended for patching cracks. I will attempt & report back in cse anyone else run into this problem.

I have heard you can use bondo...no experience with it but it would be similar to a mud.

Let me know how it turns out. I have a small crack that I need to repair as well.

Need more info on the driver. Age? Gender? Nationality? Sobriety level?
