Wanting to put up some LED lights (string or rope), to line the back side of the house, patio & garage, possibly fence line too but that's a long distance.

Suggestions on brand/what to go with? Color changing would be awesome so we could use them for xmas too but I suppose we could just do white lights.

Are you going for light or for decoration?

Our is for lighting and I went with some variation on these:

Can't remember how many feet I got, but they worked out well and provide a good amount of light.

Well I don't necessarily "need" the light but depending on the amount they put off, I could simply switch off the patio or 2 flood lights that are tied in with the pool equipment

oops...just saw that you were asking for LED lights, not traditional string lights

Only problem is, I'm going to need a lot more distance than those LED strips give

I was looking through Amazon's lightning deals and noticed these:

TaoTronics Waterproof Led String Lights

I personally have not used them but the reviews seem to be decent. 33' of lights for $28 and that is before the Lightning deal tomorrow at 11AM central. 11AM is for "Prime Members Early Access".
