clarkes hardwoods has sheets of veneers, but their prices are pretty high.
Online, look at:
veneersupplies.com
certainlywood.com
It is standard that for veneer buying online they are going to have pictures of the exact flitch/sequence you are going to buy. I've purchased from both the above websites, but I've done some extensive selection with certainlywood.com. They have a very good selection and I've told them before the dimensions of my project, what type of wood and figure I want, and they dug through their stack to find what best fit/suited my needs.
How do you plan on adhering the veneer? If contact cement, I would suggest you need a backed veneer so prevent any bleed through. Standard veneer is 1/42" thick, but they have thicker in standard (domestic) woods if you want to go thicker.
