Has anyone tried this? I have some very shady spots that I can't get St. Augustine to grow and am thinking about Texas Frogfruit. I'm not sure where to find it thought, doesn't seem like a typical nursery carries it. I have half a mind to trounce through a few parks and see if I can find some and transplant some clippings

Just look in a culvert somewhere. I find it all over the place. How big of an area are you looking to cover?

looking to test on a 5x10 patch in the backyard around the kiddo's playhouse/swingset and then maybe in the front where the St Augustine won't grow.
