we've got a brick patio in my backyard, with several different types of brick, obviously done at different times.

painting doesn't seem reasonable, since we will walk on it... i know they do cool stuff with stamped concrete these days, is there anything i can do to bring some uniformity? orange brick is offensive to my aggie taste.

you could go over it with that Rustoleum DeckRestore product.

I'm thinking of using on my concrete since the two sections were poured 7 years apart.

i should clarify that these are actual bricks, like standard flat masonry construction orange bricks.

We stained a bunch of rock-type bricks using a concrete stainer when we used them to line the flower beds then decided we didnt like the color up against the house. It took forever, but it was worth it in the end. Might want to look into something like that.

Concrete stains work OK on bricks. You'll have to do some testing to see what color they turn out, but you can shade them all to a more similar color that way.
