The store bought Tiki Fuel with Citronella seems way expensive. Are there cheaper substitutes that can be used either in place of or mixed with it to cut down on the cost of running a bunch of torches?

Can you mix odorless kerosene with the store bought stuff?

Kerosene should work.

Don't know any reason not to mix. In fact I have found places advocating adding citronella to kerosene lamps to keep bugs away.

kerosene doesn't have any of the citronella smell, though. You'd just be getting a flame.

Where do you live Squadron? I bought a butt load of it when it was 75% off at Big Lots last year. I could part with a couple of bottles.
