Anyone have good plans for a DIY sprinkler system? Not an expert handyman, but I'm curious if there any good ideas out there other than paying $3k for a system.
You can have Rainbird draw a system for you along with a parts list for a fee. Just submit a scaled drawing of your yard along with some basic information.
I helped me dad install a system ~10 years ago at their house and it wasn't very difficult, just lots of digging with a sharp shooter.
I agree with Rebel. We have 2 of the watering made simple and plan on getting a few more for the backyard and side of house. You can also look at Amazon, they sell them also in packages which makes it a lot cheaper.
