Has anyone every used rain x on their shower glass? With the new glass we just got installed I want to keep it nice clean and clear. Any suggestions?

Squeegee after every shower. Takes 30 seconds and keeps the glass nice and clear

That's what we do. Even make guests do it.

I've tried rain-x, it sorta works but you still need to squeegee to get it all. May as well just only squeegee. The rain-x doesn't last long either without reapplication.

Yes somewhat serious. I think I'm just going to stick w/ the squeegee, though.

It's a good question. Once you get some spots on it you will never ever get them off no matter how much vinegar you use.

Use windex and a flat razor blade to clean off the hard water spots.

Don't use WD-40.

Used Rain X for at least 10 years. have to apply 2x a year at least. Works very well in hard water, not sure about BCS water

Well for better or worse I rain x'd it. It's brand new glass. As in installed friday. I used the rain x anti-fog. Im still going to squeegee. I'll let ya know how it works in the morning.

Well. Shower was great. Water temp was excellent, pressure just right. Great way to start the week. But more importantely the rain-x worked well. No fog on the glass while showering and easily squeegeed off excess water when done. I even put the rain x anti-fog on my mirrors so I could see to brush my teeth after my shower. I am sure it will wear off and I will need to reapply, but non the less I think it will work. Sorry if tmi.

Our shower glass has held up nicely without squeegee or rain-x.

I got the squeegee, but my wife complained of the squeaking when I showered early in the morning (I must have bad technique) so I quit. Worried about it, but it's been over a year now and still no spotting, and it still beads up nicely.
