Got everything pressurized, and the assembly I had to totally rebuild passed a soap test.

But the system still will not hold pressure.

This sucks. I'm going to have to either hire someone for $$$$$$ to find the leak, or I will just have to rebuild my entire system, which necessarily means opening walls.

Check all of your cut off valves (water heater, furnace, etc.). If you haven't replaced all of them the old valves can leak over time.

All the cutoff valves are new.

I isolated the house and tested it before isolating the garage and testing it seperately. Neither side will hold 3 lbs, but the house is definitely tighter than the garage. Looks like I need to start taking extraneous lines out of service in the garage as well.

What kind of guage did you use, and where did you get it?
