What kind of sod for fully shaded area?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Can anyone give me some advice what kind of sod I should put in a fully shaded area it's doesn't get any sun at all really and I dont want to put in something that's isn't going to work.

if it really, truly is not getting sun...mulch.

if it gets at least a few hours dailya nd you've got access to it, get Jamur Zoysia; otherwise a St. Augustine variety.

If you want St. A, try DelMar variety.
Put down thin layer of peat moss, then landscaping mix and only fertilize with organic and water twice a day.
Be sure to roll out or tamp down the sod to get soil contact.

If it is fully shaded, you'll either need to mulch or create an outdoor patio space, maybe shade loving ground cover. Turf won't grow.

Have you considered putting in a ground cover instead of grass? There are plenty that do well in shade and you don't have to mow them.
