Alright everyone, a friend decided to get a hair up his backside and plan a trip to Bandon for us and called and said "Lets go!" so we are going.

Leaving Thursday and heading to North Bend.

Itinerary:
Dinner Thursday - Ghost Tree Grill
Golf Friday - Sheep Ranch
Dinner Friday - Pacific Grill
Golf Saturday Morning - Bandon Trails
Golf Saturday Afternoon - Pacific Dunes
Fly back Sunday

Caddie for all three rounds, planning to hand over $200 per bag per round.

Tell me what we are missing, what we need to do different, etc.

Thanks!
E

Got back last week from my first trip.

-Have a dinner or beers at Mckees Pub, food is pretty good.
-Pizza at the main bar area at Bandon is really good and a great place to watch a game.
-Pacific Grill was just ok for me, more fancy than McKee's and the Bandon bar, and more seafood based. Good views and would recommend after a round at Pac Dunes if you're looking for more of that type of restaurant.
-Bunker Bar in the bottom of Bandon is good for a bourbon, cigar, play cards or pool.
-Each course has their own restaurant/grill/food options so you can get breakfast at the course you're playing at
-Bandon course restaurant has the breakfast buffet
-Each course has their own merch shop
-We didn't get caddies but used push carts for each round. The caddies are good there in case you so use them.

Don't know if you've been to a Bandon property before but service there is top notch!

My usual response for Bandon trips. Get this every day at Sheep Ranch.

Golf Heaven on Earth.

I assume you are staying on property. Do Punchbowl Thursday afternoon/evening for beers/cocktails with the boys and some fun on the putting green.

Feels like you are leaving some meat on the bone only playing three rounds. Highly unlikely, but see if there is anything available for Friday afternoon. If not, get on at Preserve or Shorty's. You need more golf!

Do an cold plunge in the ocean. You can get there from the property.

Do the breakfast buffet at the main lodge. Great way to start the day.

Caddies: I believe the caddie fee is $150/round. $200 is the absolute bare minimum per round, more if you are looping twice.

Honestly I played wed-Sunday last week and yesterday and today this week. I am good with ONLY 3 rounds in two days.

I will ask about one of the short courses when we get there. That said I am fine with some relaxation time as well.

Played shortys and then sheep ranch today. Had this sandwich after my round it was in fact delicious.

Shot a 79 at sheep ranch, first time to break 80 so felt good about that!

Sheep ranch is now your favorite course. I shot a 75 at Pacific Dunes after a double on 18. It's my favorite course.
