I am going to Atlantis with the family and debating on taking my clubs or not. Has anyone played this recently and is worth it? (Clubs, green fee, etc). TIA.

Have not played the course but a long time ago I decided not to travel with clubs for a day of golf. Bring shoes glove and some balls and rent clubs. Stayed in the cove years ago and enjoyed it with the family. We got a little tired of the large and expensive restaurants. Ventured off property for some really nice food and a change of pace.

We went during Dec '20 and essentially had the place to ourself. Played in 2 and a half hours. Enjoyed the course but If I went back, I don't think I'd bring my clubs. None of the holes were super memorable imo.

Agree here. Its a pain lugging them around for one round and Ive seen too many horror stories of broken drivers.

If its an expensive course, they usually have nice rentals. Last two travel rounds I played the rentals were T-300/TSi-2 sets.

I played it several years ago and it was worth it. Nothing overly memorable, but it's beautiful and it was in fantastic shape. BIL and I both rented clubs. I don't remember what they were but they were nice.
