Anybody ever played here before? I'm headed to New Zealand's South Island in a couple weeks with some buddies for a hunting trip and we are looking to squeeze a round in during our 36-hour stay in Queenstown before heading to the mountains for our hunt. Reviews and pictures look incredible. Appears that we are just going to catch it before it closes down for the winter, so it's going to be a tad chilly.

Played Jack's Point in February
Amazing views and a solid golf course.
The Remarkables frame some of the holes and the rest play around a gorgeous lake.
I would highly recommend playing it and also eat at the restaurant there.

Gotta say that this was definitely the most scenic course I've ever played. Greens were exceptionally fast and they certainly weren't very flat. Course was in good shape considering they were closing for the winter with 7-10 days of us playing.

Incredible view of Lake Wakatipu for several holes.


This was a pretty unique tee shot, as you had to hit over a 30" stone wall that was about 175 yards away to reach the fairway.
