Looking at helping to organize an industry event for approximately 60 golfers in San Diego this coming October. We'll be staying in Coronado. We played Steele Canyon this week to give it a shot, but think it may be a brutal day to golf and then make it back for a dinner at the hotel. Played Torrey Pines last time but they have a 150 minimum now for events. My other ideas are now shopping centers. Any other thoughts?

Looks like that is also a 45 minute drive, was hoping for something closer but it's apparent a lot of old courses have been turned to shopping centers now. Thanks for the rec though, looks very nice.

Any reason why you wouldn't do this at the Coronado Golf Course if travel distance is a concern?
