Thinking about buying a golf cart

Anyone have things to look for? Brands etc?

I'd prefer a true 1 bench cart with clubs on back not the back bench.
Also want it street legal and upgraded radio/speakers etc.

local places in DFW to visit?

If you belong to a club, try to tag onto when they renew their fleet. Save $2-3,000

Lithium battery

IMO top 3-4 brands are pretty much equal. Should run 20-23 mph vs the course rentals 16-18 mph

Guy I play golf with has one and build quality is suspect, nuts and bolts are coming off of it constantly. Was driving behind him in the summer and noticed one side of his axle was bent up. Turns out 2 of the four bolts that held the left side of the axle to the center diff came unbolted and he was about to lose the left side of his rear axle.

The front solid windshield sucks in the summer.

I'm a big fan of Yamaha carts, I see more old Yamahas and club cars in use than any other brands. Yamahas quiet tech on their gas carts is pretty impressive and they come stock able to run 25mph.

Light kits and blinkers are very common but don't know about street legal.

Save the money on installed speakers and just get a good Bluetooth speaker.

We got our Yamaha from a place in Weatherford, they'll deliver for free to dfw.

I absolutely love my icon. Lots of people **** on it because its from Asia but I've had it 2 years with ZERO issues. It hauls ass, looks sharp and was substantial less than other brands. Even used rebuild ezgo or club car

Im looking for Ray Finkle.... and a clean pair of shorts. Im just a very big Finkle fan. This is my Graceland, sir.

I like my club car onward - I have had it about 6 months so far, and I use it to take the kids to school, for golfing, and going to pool, etc. Very happy I did NOT go with the lifted model.
