Went in 2017 so it has been awhile.

I purchased tickets directly through The Open website, didn't have an issue.

I haven't checked but I doubt tickets are on sale for 2024, I think they usually go on sale around the time of The Open the previous year.

Went in 2014 at Royal Liverpool. Bought a day ticket for 75 at the gate. Times sure have changed.
