Anyone on here have one or used one before? I'm looking into buying on and they seem to have decent reviews for the price range. However, I was also looking at the Bushnell V5. Not sure if I want to spend the extra $100-150 if I can get similar results with the Blue Tees.

I bought a blues tees a year or so ago and dumped it. I could shoot a pin three times and get three completely different readings, and this happened almost every time.

Bout the caddytel from costco and it works far better

I was unaware Costco even sold them. For $120, that may be the route I take.

I have a Blue Tees and notice this as well. But for me it's never more than a yard change, maaaybe 2 on the rare occasion. Not enough to bother me.

I would second the CaddyTek v2.0 with slope. Easy to change a small plate if you need to turn slope off. We have had one that we use regularly for 2 years, absolutely no issues with it. My daughter plays a ton of STPGA Junior Tour tournaments so we constantly compared it to much more expensive models, always either the exact same yardage or a +/- a yard. We paid $120 for it about 2 years ago, it used to go on sale every so often for $99 but have not seen it at that price in a long time or I would have bought a second one.

I have one. It looks sleek and has a powerful magnet that sticks to the cart. As far as performance, I see very little difference in the Blue Tees and my cheap bushnell knockoff from Amazon that I got for $100. Only difference is better magnification

Another question for the group here, since I've yet to make a purchase. Have any of y'all ever used the GoGoGo CS24 model from Amazon? Buddy of mine has one and told me about it today. Just like the CaddyTek, he said it was a steal for the price as well. I'm still leaning towards the CaddyTek, but figured I'd get feedback on the other too. TIA

SureShot 5000 IPS

Have had it for a few years. It's been nothing but solid for me. Locks on quickly, measurements are (as far as I can tell) precise and accurate.

I have the GoGoGo and it has been just fine. For the money, zero complaints. It has hit the deck a couple times and still works great. I have compared it against expensive ones and it stands up fine. The more expensive ones lock the pin faster, but we are talking about half a second. Only wish would be a built in magnet. The velcro magnet strap works great. Two MBL thumbs up.

All that being said, when it dies, I will buy a more expensive one.

Just curious, why isn't everyone shooting with gps apps? I have a range finder but end up mostly using the app when I play. Seems pretty spot on when I use 18 birdies.

I'm guessing a lot of guys don't like having their phones out when playing a round. I'll occasionally use The Grint app for yardages, but it can be bothersome if I'm also trying to listen to music, check emails, etc.

I use both my Garmin watch and a rangefinder. Shoot the pin so I have an exact distance and then glance at my watch to see front edge, back edge, etc.

Then I proceed to pull hook it 20 yards left of all of that.

you shouldn't be doing that when you are playing golf!

I actually have both. Like the Bushnell better, it acquires the pin faster and a touch more accurately. One one hole I play with the Blue Tees, it struggles to acquire a pin that is wrapped in small forest trees 10 yards behind the green. I was way off on club selection one time when I didn't cross reference my S62 Garmin for reasonability.

Other than that, it's just whether the better quality is worth the price. I haven't used up the first set of batteries yet, but when Blue Tees included an extra set in the box, it got my attention.

At least you don't shank it.
