Wishful thinking at this point...but what would it take to move to Scotland, declare dual citizenship between USA & Scotland but to live long term in Scotland.

And of course to play a lot of golf in retirement.

Have you looked at the immigration requirements for retirees? I think they may have removed the type of visa that allowed retirees to move there.
