Gonna be in the area this weekend and was hoping to get a round in. Does anyone have a recommendation for a course to play? I'm gonna have to rent clubs.

Looking at Wild Dunes Links Course at the moment.

I've only played the courses on Kiawah Island but I've heard good things about the Links at Stono Ferry.

Wild Dunes links is a highly underrated course. My favorite on our trip aside from ocean course and Osprey.

Not impressed with stono ferry or Dunes west personally
Im looking for Ray Finkle.... and a clean pair of shorts. Im just a very big Finkle fan. This is my Graceland, sir.

I'm playing The Ocean Course, Osprey and Turtle in August. I played The Ocean Course last year but haven't played Osprey or Turtle.

It was redesigned about a year and half ago in a very Seth Raynor style homage.

Wild Dunes Links is very nice. Played Shadowmoss like 7 years ago and it was good but I know they had storm damage a couple of years ago, so I don't know what the current conditions are. I do know their email server works and it's hard to unsubscribe so if you don't want inbox clutter give them Bond's email.

Bumping this as I'll be in Charleston in two weeks… is Wild Dunes Links still the best course in that area?

Wife and I are heading to Charleston after the Thursday Masters round (humble brag I know... suck it), what is the best course scenery wise in Charleston/Kiawah that is not the Ocean Course? Wife will be riding along.

OC will always be #1, but its now $650. Glad I got to cross it off my list a couple years ago before it got the PGA Championship bump.
