Keep in mind some golf balls on the shelf in 2022 (like the new 2022 Chrome Soft models) are different than the ones tested in that article above. Also, a Chrome Soft from 2018 is drastically different from a Chrome Soft in 2022 (not the same ball at all).

without clinking the link in the post above the srixon z-star is closest competitor IMO of "soft" tour balls.

I have a soft spot for Chrome Softs as my longest drive ever was with one.

I think the Wilson Duo softs Pro are very similar in feel and with a great price point.

I played Chome Softs for a while, then went on journey to see what else was out there. I've tried about 20 different balls over the past year, and after all that... I'm going back to Chrome Soft.

I really liked the Vice Pro, but they just don't hold up very well imo. I also don't mind Pro V1, AVX, or TP5X.
