Long shot but headed to the Fredericksburg area next weekend April 1-3. Anybody know a way to play Boot Ranch?

I will bum off your thread as well. Heading that way the weekend of 22nd next month. Would love the chance to get on Boot Ranch. Could return the favor and get you on at TPC Bellville.

Assuming you are a member of a club that is a rung or 2 below Boot Ranch…
Usually the best way to do something like this is to have your pro setup a "playing lesson" with an assistant pro at the proposed exclusive club. In this situation, you will have to pay a full green fee plus the pros hourly teaching rate. It's generally easier and much cheaper to find someone you know that is a member at said club and have them get you on as an unaccompanied guest.

If you're at a peer level club, or your head pro knows the head pro well at desired club, it may be as easy as a phone call from your head pro to boot ranch etc.

Let them know that you are looking at a property for sale there, or, actually contact a listing on the course and let the agent know you'd like to try the course before you send a cash offer above asking price.

Unfortunately I am not a member at another club, just took the long shot chance of hoping to find a way to play a Texas gem. I am a lifetime away from becoming a member at a place like Boot Ranch. Ladybird is the fall back, but I had to ask since all I could be told was no

Don't have anything to contribute unfortunately, but would love to hear from anyone that has been out there. Seems like a great place if you can afford to, which most of us probably cant....

We play it every year. Angelo State Womens Team has a fundraiser scramble and it's a blast. Just buy a team and golf. It's great.

Its an extremely fun track. If you're playing unaccompanied, they require you to use a caddy, but I'd rather use one there anyway. I got to watch the first ace I've ever witnessed on #7 which I had to follow and my tee shot ended up about 6" away from the hole. I cant imagine how nuts our group would have gone if we made back to back aces!

I'm a member at Boot. I'm gonna be at Miramont that weekend though. Happy to host Ags whenever in town, however.

I played unaccompanied without a caddy... non-member. Was about 2 years ago.

Won a silent auction a few years back for a weekend there and it was great. My buddies and I saw one other 4some all weekend. Everything first class.

Built a house for some clients out there 2 years ago. I've played it a couple of times with them and it is sweet. The best practice area anywhere and the clubhouse is spectacular. It lives up to the hype.

Really good course, great views, not overly tough….toughest part for you would be getting on. I have a highly ranked Jr in AJGA, we get to play a lot of exclusive tracts…..I vicariously live through his connections and privileges.

No clue then. I had to use a caddy when unaccompanied.
