I'm just daydreaming here because I can't imagine dropping $500+ on a round of golf, but if I ever decided to pull that trigger, what are y'all's thoughts on those 2 courses?

I know a lot about Shadow and really want to experience the limo trip and the secluded paradise of that place, but I'm also curious who has played the Wynn course since they re-did it. How does it compare? And what price are both courses charging now? I assume they have gone up like everything else has.

Which course is harder? Which is more fun? Which gives a better start to finish experience?

I'd play Shadow Creek just for the fact that looking at a big hotel with "Wynn" on the side while I'm playing would piss me off.

I was under the impression that Shadow Creek is very difficult to get onto if you aren't invited by a member.

Unless something has recently changed, all you have to do to get on is stay at an MGM property.

Shadow raised their rates in October of 21. Peak season pushing a grand now to play.

Most of the play is invitation only, but staying on MGM property and being willing to fork out the high green fee gets some groups on Monday-Thursday

Shadow is way better than Wynn. Stay at an MGM hotel and pay $1,000 for freen fee and you can play it. I think Wynn is north of $500

Not even comparable. Shadow creek is a real experience.

Shadow Creek by a mile. Wynn isn't even close. The only course out there that comes close to the experience of Shadow Creek is Cascata.

Having played all 3...I would concur!

I've played all 3..

Shadow Creek
Cascata
Wynn (played at 123 Fahrenheit, dumb decision)

A grand for Shadow Creek? My goodness. I know nothing in Vegas is cheap, but that is absolutely absurd that you're paying hundreds more to play there than somewhere like Pebble.

Absurd. For that price I better be getting a stripper from the Rhino for the night

Or play Pebble Beach twice.
One day at a time.
