I bumped last year's and volunteered bagger to set it up. Fingers crossed.

How does this work?

Having hand surgery in a few weeks (SLL repair) so I'm out this year. Have fun!

How does the league work?

It was supposed to be an ongoing league.

Basically over the course of two or three weeks you have an event. You play at whatever course you want and your net performance is what counts in your flight.

Every once in a while we have "majors" where you play multiple rounds and your aggregate performance over those events is what counts.

And your performance in each event wins you points like the FedEx Cup.

We used The Grint to run it last year and it wasn't really the right tool. Need to find something better, even if it's a manual Google Sheets setup or something.

Another key factor is that I will need a couple of deputies that can help me set things up and keep them moving.

On the bright side, I joined TheGrint because of the league and glad I did.

On the other hand, I found it difficult to figure out how to start a round in tournament mode. I was an Ag major so that could be my issue. Regardless, I quit logging rounds for the league because I got tired of trying to start a round in tournament mode.

But it was neat to see tournament results from your app.

Ah, I didn't know everyone had to play from the same course. That was probably really naive of me…

So I created the TexAgs tour. However, reading the set up I'll have to manually add everyone that would like to participate through the grint app. PM me if you would like for me to add you by your username on the grint.

You can scan this QR code to add me on the grint so that I can include you in the league.

You don't have to play the same course. We're all over the state. Grint calculates your handicap depending on yardage and slope, etc. That makes it fair.

It's requested you don't play from the ladies tees, and not the tips, but preferably near the back regarding tee boxes.
