It's my understanding Chet was Nicklaus' onsite guy at Traditions. He's the architect of Whispering Pines and at Houston Oaks where I'm a member. I would expect it's going to be terrific like his other courses.

Not much to add, but I stayed out there before the holidays. They are moving a ton of earth. Looks like it will have some nice elevation changes throughout (considering 1.5 hrs from Houston). The current 9 hole course is always in good shape and would expect the same for new 18 hole course. I think their clubhouse is just ok and definitely skews towards the corporate crowd.
