Looking to get fitted for a new driver, as my old one is due for an upgrade. Went to golf Galaxy yesterday and told them what I was looking for, and they just pulled a couple drivers off the shelf. I could have done that myself.

I'm looking for a place that will let me hit a different mix of heads and shafts to see what fits best. Anyone get fit for a driver and had a good experience? Where did you go?

A buddy of mine got fitted at Club Champion and sent his specs to Wide World of Golf (wwgolf.com) and they saved him several hundred dollars vs what CC was going to charge.

THIS. Did a through-the-bag fitting at the end of the year since they were running a promo. So far have saved $668 buying from a plug on a closed club FB group just on the driver shaft, 3 wood head and 3 wood shaft I was recommended compared to what they quoted for them. Was still great info and service at CC (Katy Memorial)

Is there a specific person at CC or IP to do your club fitting?

I use Brett at IP for all my stuff, but any of the guys there are good.

Thanks for the feedback. After looking at prices, i think it's worth it to just spend the extra $200 and get the entire bag done
