Has anyone recently played the Cypress course? i believe it reopened recently after the flood damage had it closed up for months. I played the Traditions course last saturday and it is in great shape

Played two weeks ago, course is in great condition! Greens were very impressive/consistent.

Played it Friday.

Good to have it back in the rotation.

just to clarify- did you play the Traditions or Cypress course?
If Cypress Course- is it back to 100% or close to it?

Think the Cypress just opened last weekend while the Tradition has been open a few weeks now.

The Tradition course is in immaculate shape right now. Played it a couple weeks ago and was incredibly impressed. It's well worth the $75 fee.

Tradition is a beauty. The only remotely sketchy areas are back by Spring Creek where they had to re-sod 15 fairway and the green surround on the par 3 14th.

The flood demolished the alternate "left" tees on the Par 3 14th, so it will always be the right tees now. I'm not sure if the water ripped the steep bank down to the waste area on the right, or if they just softenened the hole, but it's dramatically different.

As to the original question though... the Cypress Course... I'm curious to hear what kind of shape it's in. Selfishly, I couldn't wait for it to open because Tradition is too tough for a lot of folks which made for a couple of slow rounds out there. It'll help to have the Cypress Course as an easier and cheaper alternative for the hacks.

Played Tradition today for first time in about 25 years. Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Great mix of needing length and smart play. Just like everything else around town right now, course was in great shape.

Cypress is open. Pro shop said it is in pretty good shape, but they are having a hog issue on some parts of the course. No idea how bad, but it was enough for him to mention.
