D&J is a dump. Academy has an infinitely better selection

Lol.. I used to work at D&J. Used to be called Pro Golf Discount back in the day. There clothes department is definitely lacking... They normally have decent amount of used/new clubs. I got a sweet barely used Scotty Cameron putter when I was there!

Just an FYI D&J does have the new Titliest A&M golf hat thats a profit and more breathable than the older Titliest collegiate hats.

Actually, Traditions has a very large selection of golf attire, more so than most in town. If you can find a member to buy it for you, their members get a great discount.

Briarcrest, Campus Course and Pebble Creek have good selections, but not as big as Traditions.

Have not been in Miramont.

Academy has a big selection but is as pricey as the country clubs.

If you want to save money, SteinMart has a great selection of golf clothes and you can get online coupons from time to time to cut the cost down even more.

If you get lucky, Ross gets Nike & Adidas gear in each week but it is spotty. You will get a new Nike golf shirt for $19-29.99 dollars instead of full cost. TJ Maxx will as well but not as often as Ross.

I actually bought my last golf hats at D&J and Bryan Muny.

Honest question. Do you think the members discount gets the price down to full retail? By that mean full retail in a store that isn't the golf shop of a private club. They'll always the highest priced.

I actually bought a hat this morning at D&J on my way through town. Clothes selection left a lot to be desired but I was somewhat impressed with the amount of new and used clubs. I was actually interested in getting a used cobra hybrid but the guy wouldn't budge more than 10% off the price they had listed. I Didn't exactly "need" it so I didn't wanna pull the trigger even though it wasn't realy overpriced. I was just hoping I could get a good deal.... I'll stop back by in the future when I'm in town for sure.

I was originally wanting one but after I tried it on it fit a little snug on my head. After a few hours it would give me a headache. Back in high school and college fitted hats were all I'd wear. Not anymore. Father time must be catching up with me
