Im wanting to get golf lessons for me and my boyfriend for his birthday.....he is okay....shoots in the 80s and im relatively new to the game but I think I have a natural talent for it....where or who is a good place in Houston to get lessons? What kind of prices should I be looking for....pray tell oh experts of the golf board.

I've taken several lessons from Matt Schewe (in SW Houston) and been pleased. He charges $60/hr which is very reasonable. I believe that he also does a Saturday morning clinic which would be great for a beginner.

I'm an 9 handicap and have always been a straight ball hitter. He's been teaching me how to work the ball with great results.

Sounds like a great gift. I wish my wife would play but she doesn't seem interested.

Need suggestions, I'm new to the game (tried teaching myself playing 4-5x with a friend for the past year). I want to get some lessons and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions.

Edit: Live in Central Houston, but my family lives in Katy so I'd be willing to go out there to take lessons.
