I just found out that I am playing 36 holes at Belmar golf course. This course is located between Norman and Oklahoma City. Has anyone played or no anything about it?

Okrahoma I like it haha. I feel your pain all of my fam is from tx but most of them went to 0U. Its a fun place for a weekend but those Indian raids would tick me off haha. I will post a update after I play. I have herd good things but you can't always trust a Sooner

I haven't played there in about 5 years. My gparents live about 15 mins from the first tee and in TX thank god haha. I have not played since they added on to the course or casino but that is on my to play list in the next couple of weeks. Its kind of pick your poison when you go there haha. I really want to play one of those tournaments that mixes golf and poker where u get crads for birdies but that is about the extent of the rules I know

Say what you want about Okies, but they've got the golf down. Many beautiful courses in Oklahoma.

Yeah they have it down. I was playing EarlyWine in OKC (no dress code) once and watched a foresome all tee off on #1, then all take their shirts off! then they proceeded to walk 18 holes.

Belmar was collared shirt required haha but they did allow jeans which i was not used to and put a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth. The golf course quickly changed my mind from a goat ranch with jean wearing red necks to just a very laid back course with a great lay out. The greens were very quick and I was surprised how nice they were. They held a very true line with everything still pretty hard and firm but could get a ball to check if hit right. It was nice bc it was not overly long but did have some good risk reward holes. All in all i would pay for a membership to play out there. The amenities around the club were first class. Great practice areas and when everything greens up this place should stand out.
