He was president at Tceh from 1996-2000. Right now he is a Professor and President Emeritus at the Tceh Honors College and also the Tceh College of Geosciences.

I guess that whole "suit and tie" kind of threw you for a loop. It's not exclusive to just Aggies, it's usually associated with professionals so undoubtedly that concept flew right over your sloped forehead.

He majored in animal STDs.

Most tech presidents dress like Junior from Hee Haw and are instantly recognizable by the salad particles hanging off them after lunch with The Prrivate.

He was the best damn president Tech's seen in a long time too.

I heard he was as queer as a football bat.

Dr. Haragan was awesome.

Some schools hire distinguished individuals such as the Former Director of the CIA as their university president, and after faithfully serving in that position they'll move onto roles such as the United States Secretary of Defense. Other schools have presidents that conduct "business meetings" at the local grocery store. That should tell you something.
