sorry for the multi board posts but I HAVE to get the word out.
ESPN 790 in Houston is hosting a closest to the pin contest today through Thursday.
here are the details.
Take Your Shot at Greatness. The 2005 People vs. the Pros at Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX features 288 amateurs (144 in two age divisions) competing in the prestigious 54-Hole Finals Tournament September 9 -11. The ultimate low-net winners in each Division battle PGA Tour stars Justin Leonard (49 and Under Division) and Ben Crenshaw (50 and Over Division), with benefit of their handicaps, in matches televised in Prime Time on ESPN with $100,000 to the winners and $50,000 to the runner-ups.
ESPN 790 has been given one of these spots in the 54 hole tournament. ESPN 790 is hosting a contest at Tour 18 to find out who is going to be our lucky representative. This will be a closest to the pin, one shot format, with the guy/girl that is closest to the pin going on to Barton Creek.
