I've grown as a person (245 lbs.) and feel it is time to stop bashing a school with such an identity crisis. I now feel sorry for the rainbows and the fact that it is the last bastion of liberalism in Texas. Therefore, they are no longer my rival. However, for me, everybody else in the Big 12 is a rival and should be treated as such.

Plus, it's more fun being rivals with schools you have something in common with i.e. heterosexuals and love of state and country.

That is my take ...
