Tough Decision...Leaning towards the G35 due to resale value...F-150 because of watercraft towing capability.

My sister has a G35 and it's awesome. Too small to do much with, but fun to drive.

If the G35 didn't look so wierd with a trailer hitch, it might make this easier..I really DO like the F150 SuperCrews (probably would get a Fx4 just b/c I'm vain), and my brother in law has one that I really like, but the G35 is just a sweet vehicle in every way...This is gonna be tough, glad I have a few months to think about it.

Go with the Infiniti and a waverunner instead of a Ford and a boat.

I drive a 2003 F150 SuperCrew and love it.

However, last month I picked up this turbo diesel unit for the wife and it is THE shjt:



I never thought I'd own a Dodge but this is one bone bad ride. When you hear and feel that turbo spool up when you stomp on it in the passing lane it will draw wood.

Yeah, two pickup trucks in the driveway...I'm probably violating my deed restrictions. But we just got a horse for my daughter, next will come a horse trailer and then an RV...my wife will be driving her around. Blew the doors off sedans and coupes while passing on I-35 last month on our way to the Frio.....this while pulling a 6,000 lb. RV that might as well have been a gnat. And yes I'm pizzed that my wife gets to drive this truck.

At least drive one of these things before you buy something. I was amazed.

Go with the sportscar unless you need to tow a boat.

I bought a G35 in November...love it. Lots of fun to drive...3 speeding tickets to prove it!

Wait till '07 and get the GTR!

That's what I'm waiting on. It's still in "spy photo" mode so nobody knows the final look or specs. But if it's anything like the Skyline GTR used to be - look for either twin turbos or a V8 and AWD.

Im a car freak so my response will be obvious. The question is, do you love to drive? Have you ever been to a track event? I used to track my M3 before I sold it and loved every minute of it. I have a Touareg but don't wake up thinking about driving it like I did my M3. If you get the G35, you can ALWAYS trade a friend for their truck for a day to tow your stuff for the lake..... But, your friends w/ the G35 WONT want to trade for your truck.

but definitely, decidedly, isn't. I drove both and wound up with the BMW - never looked back.

I just sold my E46M3. Loved it. Fantastic on the track but chewed up brakes. I blew up the engine once when the #6 piston went through the block. (It happened alot to the S54 engines) BMW replaced it without hassle and gave me a new engine (I had 28K on the odo) and a 100K wtty. The car was perfect......

You looking at a Harley Edition, or a regular F150? If it's a Harley, let me know. There are some issues with earlier models that are worth noting. I had a '00 Lightning, so I know my way around the 5.4S/C pretty well.
