Hearing rumors that Shipley is hurt....any truth to the story. Saw him play with McGee at Kyle against Jasper. I was wanting to see what he had.

He's fully recovered from an injury he suffered last year. Sips I know say he looks good and has great hands, but what good will that do? I hope he knows how to block, cause running is about all VY can do.

yeah brandi, we'll se him him running in and out of the huddle telling radio either to run left or run right. They recruited him because he can run from the sideline to the huddle quickly so that they have plenty of time on the play clock.

I know he was injured last year but I hear this is injury #2. There is a thread on it over on Websider but I quit paying for info for the summer.

Brandi: Basically, Shipley was the reason Stephen McGee had great stats in high school.

Here's what he did in the THSCA All-Star game last summer:

He would have started as a true freshman had he not torn his ACL in August. If you are really too ignorant to know who he was in high school, you'll be introduced to him on T+1, when he'll be the guy you'll be cursing your defense for being unable to tackle.

McGee is going to rewrite the A&M passing records when he is done. Shipley was lucky to have such a strong armed and accurate passer throwing to him in high school. I was hoping that A&M could have landed both. But the Ags are doing more than fine at receiver (not hurting there at all). On the other hand, Shipley is probably the most talented that tu currently has. Hope he is past the injury bug and starts producing for the Horns, except against my Ags of course.

No, you've got it backwards, douche pump. McGee is the reason Shipley had impressive stats. Wait, maybe it was both.

Yeah, we'll see how many receiving records Shipley racks up with Radio at the helm, since he's the reason that a quarterback would have great stats. Hilarity!

You ags are so easy to whip into a frenzy. Echoes, did you not see the sunglasses? Don't take yourself too seriously. I would say that they both benefited from the other, wouldn't you? They're best friends, and both have praised the other in rivals interviews. Shipley said McGee made him look good because he always threw it to where he could catch it, and McGee said Shipley made him look good because all he had to do was get it within 10 feet of him and he'd catch it. I was just making light of brandi pretending not to know who he was. In all seriousness, Shipley was known coming out of high school as having blazing speed and running impecible routes. Since these are both things a torn ACL can mess up (speed and cuts), I'm anxious to see how good he will be post-injury. If he can make half the moves he made in high school, look out.

I played against both of them in high school, many, many times. And the truth is that they're both incredible and I hate them both for being so talented. I've seen Jordan embarass the hell out of DB's and special teams coverage.

And then, Stephen is so elusive as a QB. I've seen him get out of pass rushes where you swore he would've lost 15 yards. Plus he's got a cannon. I only managed to get a hand on one of Stephen's passes. He was trying to hit a receiver running a 5 yard slant. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and swatted the pass away... last time I'll ever do that because that sh*t hurt.

I knew you were egging man, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to bag on Radio's passing!

Seriously though Shipley seems like a hard-working good kid that's supremely talented. Hope he recovers from his injury, although he had better work more on his downfield blocking than route running with Vince at the helm!
