yea, political science is a liberal arts degree, and I wouldn't say that a degree in political science from A&M now is bad at all... esp after the opening of the bush school

I am a liberal arts major and the son of a lib. arts prof and I will agree that you better have a plan of some sort (grad school, contacts, or being a hermit are favorites) in place long before graduating or else you are very likely to be screwed.

I know I make a lot more money than my friends who have liberal arts degrees from A&M. I also make almost as much as my friend who has a civil eng degree from A&M. He graduated 5 years prior to me.
