who are his teammates there? do you subscribe to a recruiting service? i only get the m&w report, so i wouldnt know about his interviews.

based on what ive heard about him, i think usc has an offense that is more styled around a player like murray (a la bush/white), but then again, they are a throwing team.

I think if we get an official visit from Murray our chances are good that we could land him. USC got in real late on recruiting him he has stated many times but USC is USC. Who wouldn't want to go there to play football? I think based on what I've read that ou doesn't have any lead on us for his services though.

Big fan of Franchione? He's a big fan of Brent Venables and Bob Stoops. He's had a relationaship with them for over 2 years. Also, I've never really seen A&M mentioned much in non-A&M articles.

Every single time you have made a prediction contrary to what I say you have been TOTALLY WRONG and COMPLETELY OWNED by me.

It's like I went to a major, nationally respected university and you went to some glorified junior college... oh yeah. You did.

Plano- from what I've heard his coach is a friend of the Koennings and he turned the Ags on to Murray just after Fran came to A&M (so we've been on him for more than 2 years also). He has said in USC articles and A&M articles that he has a GREAT relationship with our coaches. He has also stated we will definately get an official visit. I'd say we have as good a chance if not better than OU.

I never said that Murray's coaches did not have a relationship with A&M coaches. But Brent Venables had been recruiting Ryan Reynolds for the past two years and thus was also in close contact with Murray. He calls the OU coaches once a week and also was going to be spending this entire weekend with Ryan Reynolds.

No I don't. I see where the writer lists what he says are the favorites, which are about the same as they always are. Maybe thats why Murray mentioned us specifically, because eh doesn't understand why we aren't listed.

And yes he said he was giving us a chance. What else would it be? He is giving OU a chance, USC a chance, Michigan a chance, etc. Otherwise, he would be commited somewhere already.

We should really make Okies take a test before we let them movet to our state, even Plano.

No he's giving A&M a chance to see if they can do something besides finishing 13-11 under Franchione with a loss to BAYLOR! There's a difference between giving someone a "chance" and naming a school a "favorite". If you can't see that you have some awfully thick maroon-colored glasses on.

It's all a moot point because he will more than likely end up at USC. I didn't know he had teammates at OU, PG, my bad. He is a big fan of Franchione though, so I'd say A&M has a pretty good chance.

We're in his top 5-7 right now and I really don't think anyone can be claimed as any sort of a leader.

That being said, USC is probably the team to beat (although it will be exciting to get him on campus for an official).

For one, those Rivals articles do not include everything that is discussed in the converstation. They also don't give you all the questions that are asked. For example, the USC guy could've said, "Is there a team out there that might have a shot if they have a good season this year?" Then he replied with his answer about A&M.
