It's like someone saying "Tech was only winning 21-14 at half over Sam Houston" and the final was 49-14. We just keep piling up the W's.

TexAgs epic meltdowns are legendary, but this site is great due to the open exchange of dissenting opinions (between Aggies, as well as guests and rivals)..

Honest question, why do neither Texas or Texas Tech alum have anything even close to TexAgs? Hornfans back in the day was miserable, and orangebloods / shaggybevo are even worse. Raiderpower wasn't great and didn't get much traffic, but had potential.

Texags is the Gold Standard of fan forums.

Tiger Droppings is bigger than TexAgs. But the UT sites are decentralized partially due to bad business and half-assedness. TexAgs by comparison has been a machine, and you can get a lot of value out of it for just your time spent here. A great model.

Tech just needs Cody Campbell to swoop in, start a forum, run a model wherein he pays alum to become members and then pays them 2 cents per post. That place would explode.

All that winning gets a bit stale when you are only talking with fellow fans.

I think this forum is a great fit for A&M because preseason you can puff your chest about how good a football program you have, and then you can live vicariously through the other schools as they trudge toward their conference championship.

For those people that want Mike Elko fired. Look at his record at Aggie land, 23-10.1st year 8-5, 2nd year 11-2.
Not too shabby. One of the major issues this year is the offensive coordinator, needed to get one with experience.
Remember, just about the whole offensive line went to NFL, and defense also, including d backs Marcel Reed is a good QB,when the offensive line gives him time to throw. And he needs an offensive coordinator to hook him up with plays that work. The WHOLE team is down and out. It's in their heads they will not win!! We have the talent , by far, but not the leadership the team needs. Elko should have gotten a good OC, and DC. The school has the money, use it . A combination of things, new players, injuries, bad coordinators, team down and out, Elko needs new plan, and he can do it. Will win 6 games , hoping 8, but 6 will do until next year,when things will hopefully have been fixed, and start over for a CFFP, and be one of the 24 teams, if it goes to that!. Or the other way?
