TCU ran back the opening second half kickoff for a TD but a flag was thrown for holding. Dykes screamed at the ref for awhile, had to be held back by staff, and the ref showed a lot of restraint before throwing a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct. Dykes wouldn't stop yelling and got a second flag and was ejected

Dykes was correct, it was a horrid penalty, but after one flag you got your point across. Maybe he was attempting a Billy Martin in hopes of firing up his team, but SMU just won 66-42.

SMU may be the second best team in the state of Texas.

Maybe the only way to elicit anything resembling school spirit from SMU is for their coach to cross town by helicopter and take their greatest rival to the national championship game. It looks like Dykes really got the business from the moment he stepped off the bus. but he was a godsend for smu. they should still be thanking him

SMU has some speed and talent, and they know how to take care of their players.

Looks like Utah and BYU are the class of the Big 12, both sitting on 4-0 records.
