Supposedly they are set to add Boise State, Colorado State, San Diego State, and Fresno State. They need 2 more schools. Who else gets an invite? Do they go after the lovable lepers from Lubbock? Or is having "State" in the school name a requirement? Texas State? New Mexico State? Utah State? Tortilla Tech is looking at finishing at or near the bottom of the NEW AND IMPROVED TWELVE so maybe they will change their name to West Texas State or Tortilla State so they can finally join the Pac12 without needing A&M and TEX to drag them along

UNLV now re-evaluating...

UNLV pre-2016 would have been a fine school to add. High local interest + great location.

Since 2016 or 17, Vegas has added or is about to add the Golden Knights (NHL), Raiders (NFL), and soon to be the Oakland A's and rumored NBA expansion team.


It's still a great location, and probably the older generation cares about UNLV. That group is dying off, and UNLV will be behind those other properties in local interest and sponsorship dollars.
