Listened to KLBJ some over the weekend and caught a bit of Ed Clements, his son Ben, and some other guy I didn't recognize. In the 10 minutes I listened going from HEB to home, I caught the following gems and almost crashed the car:

Top to bottom, Big 12 is much stronger than SEC. (actually stated seriously)
Ehlinger is a obvious top 4 (in the nation) QB.
Teams shouldn't try to pass against the vaunted tu secondary - it will be intercepted by one of their fab 4.
The only way for a team to have a chance against tu will be to run
Only a fool would take the under at 9.5 games, as only LSU and Oklahoma have a chance against them.
Serious indignation that the line for La Tech was only 14 points.

Made my weekend. Can't wait for the tears...

It is astounding. The sip talking heads remind me of the old SNL skit "da Bears", where a group of guys sit around discussing the superiority of the Chicago Bears. "Who would win the Indy 500 if da Bears were in it?" "Who's driving" "Ditka" "gotta go wit da Bears!".

I lived in Asstin 25 years ago and it sounds like SWT alum Ed hasn't changed a bit. He has perfected throwing sh@& up against the wall to see if it might stick.

Sips also saying they are better than lsu at every position and will hold mike the tiger to 13 points because of their spider-monkey like lateral movement on D. On O, the thought is the sips will be scoring at will because of the slow plodding tiger D.

Decide for yourself who the two top teams are in the SEC, so Bama plus one other. Remove those two teams and the SEC is still better top to bottom than the big 12.

If in doubt ask the NFL during any draft from the last few or coming years.

I've heard the same **** on 104.9 in Austin. The "Big 12 is better top to bottom than the SEC" crap is ridiculous. They talk about how crappy Vandy is. Vandy would smash Kansas 10 times out of 10. Plus, their victory over Georgia is actually taken as proof that tu is better than Georgia. LOL.

Used to listen to Jeff Ward on the way home. I remember thinking that when Ed came on, he was playing the part of a homer. No one could be that up in longhorn. Even Jeff called him out a couple times for being a homer. Gotta be a bit part.

Problem with sips is the big wtf is terrible. Level of competition makes it difficult to assess players. Donta foreman just got cut and he was supposedly the greatest thing since Ricky pothead Williams.

Well, that's just a shame. Shockingly, another lazy sip, it would appear. At least when Ricky wasn't taking time off to go live a stoner dream, he was a world class talent.
