Will y'all do Silver Taps for 41 next month?
God made the country, and man made the town. William Cowper
I heard it on TV.DifferenceMaker Ag said:
No, but 41 did request that we play the Aggie War Hymn during the reception ceremony upon the arrival of his remains in College Station, so there's that.
And I thank you for the considerate honest answers. As the son of an Aggie, I grew up with Aggie traditions but have forgotten some of the details. 41 and Barbara were two of the most beloved members of St. Martin's where my wife and I are members, and I was considering driving up to your campus to hear it if you did. I heard it once when I was a teenager 60 years ago, and it was beautiful.Danny Vermin said:

they held back reading Barbara this pst year. I imagined me both will be read this year with family members present.HTownAg98 said:
The College Station Muster will read the names of all the students that have died in the last year, those that are of the 50th anniversary class, and all former students in Brazos County that have passed. They will also include employees of the university system (I think they are referred to as "associate members," but don't quote me on that), and other names the University sees fit.
I would be shocked if George H. W. Bush's name isn't read at Muster this spring.

OK, who scheduled Easter on Muster?
Dub, you can come to Muster if you want, next April 21. It's an Aggie deal of course, but it's open to anybody.LonghornDub said:And I thank you for the considerate honest answers. Gunny - No, we joined in May, but we had been attending there for ten plus years on Easter's, Christmases, Mother's Days, Veterans' Days, etc. Dickey Elwood and I were acolytes together at St. Paul's Waco. He is a couple of years older than I am. If I remember right, he was rector in Kingwood before assisting at St. Martin's.Gunny456 said:
Longhorn.....were you and your wife members of St. Martins when Father Dick Elwood was there?
For an old guy, he sure takes a punch well.txjortsagent said:
