Last night they reported Sumlin was going to talk with them about their opening, but that before their AD was fired this morning. All signs point to either Martin or some other alum IF Fulmer gets the AD position which has been mentioned.

Tennessee should retain Hoke as interim head coach for the 2018 season.
Hire a respected AD as soon as you can.
Play out the 2018 season with Hoke.
Make a head coach hire this time next year.

In short, no coach worth a sh-t was going to work for AD Currie.
Furthermore, no coach worth a sh-t is going to accept a job without knowing who the AD is (ie, who their boss is).

Mac Brown is fat and happy. Why would he trade that all in to laboriously grind it out, all the while being reviled and ridiculed, in that particular excrement exhibition?...

There is a cautionary tale in the UT situation for every single fan base...

Why is Mack not the AD at tu yet? You'd figure with the shut show they got going on plus his successor (although charlie was mainly full of fail) fired, they'd bring him back to panhandle tgr fonirs for at least a new tennis facility.

They can forget about a splash hire at this point. & just pluck a coach from the Sun Belt or SWAC. It is no joke, they need to just put someone who's hungry enough to at least try.
