Have you talked to a Baylor person? They don't believe anything happened. They think the media did the dirty work for Alabama, Ohio State and the other power teams because they were so scared of Baylor.

I don't see a problem here. It's an institution that provides an education with tremendous value, and in a Christian setting. Amen.

I know four. Two received scholarships and were there simply because it was free. One works for mommy and daddy. The other graduated and served for a decade after graduation. Not sure what he's up to now because he was your typical Baylor fans rape apologist and I cannot associate with someone like that.

Before the USCe game I was in the MSC with a buddy and we went downstairs to watch other games before going into Kyle. The TV we walked up to had KSU-Baylor on and I commented, "Ooooh, looks like Baylor is losing again. Karma's fixin' to be 5-0!" As I said it two women wearing Aggie gear walked away and one said, "Yeah, we tried to root them on but it's not working." to which I responded with, "Why would you do that?" She said, "My daughter is a student there." The conversation ended with, "I told my daughter she can't go there."

At least they are giving the ladies fair warning to stay away.

Of the Baylor grads I know:

1 became a minister, but to be fair, he went there in the 70's.

1 became a band teacher

1 works for his dad's company

1 is a stay-at-home mom

Of the three I know

1- Took over dads Nursery
2- Become a minister
3- sells makeup on Facebook.

3 that I know:

1. Doctor
2. Works for his dad's insurance company
3. Holy roller, no worky housewife.

I know tons of Baylor grads for some reason ... off the top of my head - 2 business owners, 2 corporate execs, 2 in construction management, 3 in corporate finance, 1 minister, 1 dentist, 1 lawyer and 1 teacher ... and 5 stay-at-home-moms.

Actually, to be honest these are all really quality people ... but they all have one thing in common - to a person, none of them believe all of this really happened. They have different theories as to the who, why and how the story steamrolled the university, but they all agree it was unfounded.

And no amount of logical discussion can change their minds ...

The two Baylor people I'm friends with 1 is a banker and the other is a real estate broker. Both of them admit to, and are ashamed of, what happened. Of course they are also pissed, because they really hoped that they would have a future in football.

Unfortunately THIS IS ABSOLUTELY 100% TRUE. And the really sad part is that it's going down just as planned. As time ticks so will lots of people forget. I really doubt anyone or the school will be penalized at all. They will go back to being lowly baylolr

Nothing wrong with teaching, I'm a hs asst principal but why would you pay that tuition for a degree you can get at any public institution in Texas?

Baylor is going to get hammered. This is bigger than just the NCAA. They have extensive Title IX violations as well. When the NCAA finished there will be a lack of institutional control finding that sets them back significantly. Ultimately the most damage happens in about seven years when the Big 12 collapses and they don't have a seat at the table. Baylor's future after 2025 is SMU and its unavoidable. That's why they were willing to sell their soul to win because it was their only chance at relevance in the future. This scandal ends that chance.

Don't forget all the entrepreneurship majors. Those are the ones I see a lot.

And I think the same thing when I see people wearing Baylor shirts now - Almost seems like I see more Baylor crap now. Not sure why you would flaunt that you are an ardent supporter of rape. Seriously though, the school you're repping systemically covered up dozens of rapes over many years, enabled by a mentality grown perfectly at a fake Christian, self righteous, backwards place called Baylor. Maybe lay low for a while and don't openly associate yourself with an institution exposed for being pretty rotten. But then again, it doesn't matter to them. That's why they are Baylor.

I have a few friends who attended Baylor:

1. One works for the George W Bush Library (attended grad school at Northwestern)
2. One works for a fashion department store
3. One is a stay at home wife
4. One was a teacher.

I haven't heard any of them say anything about baylor although one posted a picture of a sad bear when Briles was fired.
